A senior member of the Faculty of Management and commerce with 25 years of teaching experience, he specializes in financial management, investment valuation, quantitative techniques, and accounting. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Second Class Upper Honours, 1997) from the University of Colombo, a Master of Science in Management (2002) from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration (2006) from Yokohama National University, Japan. In 2002, Prof. Jahfer was awarded the prestigious Japanese Government Postgraduate Research Scholarship (Monbukagakusho) for his doctoral studies. In 2012, he received the Japan Foundation Fellowship for Postdoctoral Research at the Faculty of Business Administration, Yokohama National University, where he conducted a comparative study on financial market development, foreign direct investment, and economic growth in Sri Lanka and Japan. He has an outstanding research record in financial market development, capital markets, investor behaviour, capital market efficiency, and monetary economics, with over 50 publications in peer-reviewed and high-impact journals, as well as presentations at reputed national and international conferences. He has supervised numerous PhD and MBA research projects both locally and internationally and has extensive experience in editorial governance and peer reviewing for academic journals. Prof. Jahfer has been instrumental in transforming curricula across multiple degree programmes at SEUSL and beyond. He pioneered postgraduate education in management at SEUSL by designing the innovative curriculum for its MBA programme. As the Founding Coordinator of the Faculty’s Postgraduate Unit, he inspired many managerial and engineering professionals in the South Eastern region to pursue advanced studies in management. Besides vast teaching and research experience of around 35 years, he also has vast administrative experience at MNNIT Allahabad. Dr. Vijander Singh is an Associate Professor in the Department of ICT and Natural Sciences at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology-NTNU, Norway. He completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering at Banasthali University, India, on optimizing routing in VANETs. He holds a Post-Doctoral Fellowship from Cyber-Physical Systems Laboratory, NTNU, Norway. Dr. Singh teaches various courses, including Computer Communication and Network Programming, Industrial Control System, PLC programming, Intelligent Systems, IoT and Network Programming, and many others related to computer science and engineering. His research interests include computer networks, machine learning, deep learning, fuzzy logic, explainable AI, and evolutionary algorithms. Before joining NTNU, Dr. Singh held academic positions at Manipal University Jaipur, India and Amity University Rajasthan, India. He has published numerous papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences, contributing significantly to his fields of expertise. His work has been recognized for its impact on both academic and practical applications in computer science and engineering.

Prof.(Dr.) Ajay Kumar is currently serving as the Vice Chancellor of Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University, Dehradun. He holds a B.Tech. in Industrial Engineering from NIT Jalandhar (formerly Regional Engineering College, Jalandhar), an M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Roorkee, and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Kurukshetra. He has also completed a Certificate Course in Data Science and Machine Learning from IIT Delhi and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship (Remote) from the Singapore Institute of Technology, Singapore. With more than two decades of experience in the field of technical education. He has made significant contributions in both academic and administrative domains. He has supervised numerous M.Tech. and Ph.D. scholars and continues to guide doctoral researchers in emerging areas of mechanical engineering and data science. His research portfolio includes a substantial number of papers and patents published in reputed national and international Journals. Before joining Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University, he served for about seventeen years as Director and Dean in various AICTE-approved institutions and universities, where he successfully led initiatives related to NAAC, NBA, UGC autonomy inspections, and NIRF rankings. He is a Fellow Member of the Institution of Engineers (India), a Life Member of ISTE, and a Senior Individual Member of INAE.

Prof. Dhaka brings over 18 years of extensive experience in both academia and industry. He earned his PhD in Computer Science from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra, in 2010. Throughout his career, Prof. Dhaka has demonstrated exceptional administrative and research capabilities, holding prominent positions such as Head of Department (HOD), Dean of Academics, and Principal before joining the Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) community in 2016. In 2017, he became the founding Head of the Department of Computer and Communication Engineering (CCE) at MUJ, where he successfully expanded the department from 73 students and 6 faculty members to over 1,000 students and 36 faculty members. His leadership was further recognized in 2019 when he was entrusted with the additional role of Director of E-Cell, where he energized the university's entrepreneurial ecosystem through various initiatives. Prof. Dhaka's notable achievements include being named the Best Research Performer at MUJ in 2021, securing a prestigious SERB-DST Research Project valued at Rs. 72 lakhs, guiding students to win awards at both national and international levels, leading a consultancy project with Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) under the Government of India, and establishing numerous incubation MOUs and industry collaborations. His research interests encompass Medical Imaging, Pattern Recognition, and the applications of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Computer Vision. Prof. Dhaka has published over 100 research papers in SCI/SCOPUS indexed journals. He has supervised 14 PhD theses and 11 M.Tech dissertations, and is currently guiding 7 PhD candidates. A sought-after speaker, Prof. Dhaka has delivered numerous invited talks and expert lectures on both national and international platforms, and has chaired or co-chaired various technical sessions at high-profile conferences.
